The COMICA VM30 is a professional 2.4GHz wireless shotgun microphone designed for filmmakers, videographers, journalists, vloggers, and content creators. Its integrated wireless module allows the microphone to work with the included receiver or operate independently as a wired on-camera microphone.

With USB-C digital audio and intelligent 3.5mm TRS/TRRS analog output, the VM30 can integrate with compatible cameras, smartphones, tablets, computers, mixers, and recording equipment.

Focused supercardioid sound capture

The VM30 uses a supercardioid condenser design to focus on sound arriving from the front while reducing unwanted audio from the sides and rear. This directional pickup makes it suitable for recording dialogue, interviews, voice-over, presentations, and location sound.

Its USB-C digital output supports professional 24-bit/48 kHz recording, while the 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response captures a broad range of vocal and environmental detail.

Stable 2.4GHz wireless transmission

Wireless operation provides a stated range of up to 100 metres in open, unobstructed conditions and up to 20 metres in more complex environments. Latency below 20ms helps keep recorded sound synchronized with video.

The wired and wireless outputs can operate at the same time, providing additional flexibility for multi-camera production, backup audio, or monitoring workflows.

Low-cut filters and high-frequency boost

Selectable 75Hz and 150Hz low-cut filters help reduce low-frequency rumble from air conditioners, traffic, handling, or other environmental sources.

A high-frequency boost mode enhances upper-frequency detail and can help compensate for some of the high-frequency reduction caused by using a furry windscreen outdoors.

Adjustable gain allows the microphone’s output level to be matched to the recording environment and connected equipment.

Safety track and real-time monitoring

Safety mode records a second channel at a lower level in wired operation, helping protect against sudden loud sounds and clipping. The VM30 also supports muting and real-time headphone monitoring.

An OLED screen provides visual information about battery level, connection status, gain, and audio activity.

Designed for camera rigs, boom poles, and desktop recording

The included shock mount helps isolate the microphone from camera and handling vibrations. A microphone clip is also provided for mounting the VM30 on compatible boom poles, microphone stands, or production supports.

The full-metal microphone body improves durability and helps shield the audio system from electromagnetic interference.
