The NEEWER Lantern Softbox is a professional 360° omnidirectional light modifier designed to create soft, even, and natural illumination for video production, interviews, live streaming, portrait photography, and studio content creation. Unlike traditional square or parabolic softboxes, its spherical lantern design spreads light evenly in every direction, producing smooth shadow-free lighting that fills an entire scene with minimal setup.
Built with a quick-release one-piece frame, the lantern opens and folds down in seconds, allowing photographers and filmmakers to move quickly between shooting locations. Its improved bottom locking hook makes installation faster and more secure than conventional softboxes.
Constructed with 12 highly resilient support ribs, the lantern maintains a perfectly round shape while offering exceptional durability for years of professional use. The premium diffusion fabric and highly reflective inner coating preserve accurate color temperature and natural color rendering while producing soft, balanced illumination.
The included removable fabric skirt attaches via hook-and-loop fasteners, allowing users to control light spill and direct illumination by adding or removing individual sections as needed. This makes the lantern equally suitable for open ambient lighting or more controlled directional lighting.
Featuring the industry-standard Bowens mount, the softbox is compatible with a wide range of Bowens-mount studio flashes and continuous LED lights from NEEWER, Godox, Aputure, SmallRig, and many other professional lighting brands.
