Triopo K3-65 65cm Quick-Setup Octagonal Bowens Softbox with Grid

Compact octagonal softbox for photography and video

The Triopo K3-65 is a 65cm quick-setup octagonal softbox designed for portrait photography, product shoots, interviews, livestreaming, and video production. Its folding eight-rib structure opens quickly, helping photographers and content creators reduce setup time in the studio or on location.

The compact 65cm diameter provides a practical balance between soft illumination, directional control, and portability. It is particularly suitable for headshots, close portraits, tabletop products, talking-head videos, and small content-creation spaces.

Octagonal light shaping

The eight-sided shape creates a broad light source with rounded catchlights and smooth shadow transitions. When positioned close to the subject, the K3-65 can produce flattering illumination for faces and reflective products.

Light softness depends on the size of the modifier relative to the subject, its distance, and the output characteristics of the connected light.

Silver interior with dual diffusion

A reflective silver interior redirects light toward the diffusion surfaces, helping improve the efficiency and uniformity of the modifier.

The internal diffusion panel begins spreading the concentrated light before it reaches the external front diffuser. Using both layers creates smoother illumination and helps reduce visible hotspots.

The diffusion layers can be configured according to the desired balance between output and softness.

Honeycomb grid for directional control

The included honeycomb grid attaches to the front of the softbox to reduce sideways spill. This provides greater control over where the light falls and helps prevent unnecessary illumination from reaching backgrounds, walls, or other parts of the set.

The grid is useful when creating more controlled portrait, interview, product, and cinematic lighting.

Quick folding structure

The integrated folding mechanism allows the softbox to open and collapse without removing and reinstalling individual rods. Its metal frame and eight supporting ribs maintain the octagonal shape during use.

After the shoot, the modifier folds into the supplied carrying bag for easier storage and transportation.

Detachable Bowens mount

The included Bowens mount connects the K3-65 to compatible COB LED lights, continuous studio lights, monolights, and flash heads.

Because the mount is detachable, it may be replaced with another compatible adapter where supported. Alternative adapters are separate accessories unless explicitly included.
