The Triopo K3-65 is a professional 65cm quick-setup octagonal softbox designed for portrait, beauty, product, and commercial photography as well as interviews, livestreaming, and studio video production.
Its compact dimensions make it easier to position in home studios and smaller content-creation spaces while providing a sufficiently broad diffusion surface for headshots, close portraits, tabletop products, and talking-head videos.
The eight-sided shape produces rounded, natural-looking catchlights while creating smooth illumination across faces and products. When placed close to a subject, the 65cm surface softens highlights and creates more gradual shadow transitions than a small bare reflector.
The softness and coverage depend on the connected light, distance, angle, and diffusion configuration.
The integrated quick-release structure allows the softbox to open and collapse without installing individual rods before every session. This reduces setup time during studio work and location shoots.
Its eight metal support ribs maintain the shape of the modifier during use. After production, the K3-65 folds into its carrying bag for transport and storage.
The silver interior redirects light toward the diffusion panels, helping improve output efficiency and coverage.
An internal diffuser begins spreading concentrated light before it reaches the external front panel. Using both diffusion layers helps reduce hotspots and produce smoother illumination across the softbox surface.
The removable honeycomb grid limits sideways spill and directs more of the illumination toward the subject. It is useful for portraits, interviews, and product shots where greater separation from the background is required.
The grid can be removed when wider light coverage is preferred.
The included Bowens mounting ring connects the K3-65 to compatible COB LED lights, continuous studio fixtures, monolights, and flash heads.
Traditional Speedlites require a separately compatible S-type bracket or Bowens adapter unless that accessory is explicitly included.
