The Triopo K3-90 is a professional 90cm quick-setup octagonal softbox designed for portrait, beauty, fashion, product, and commercial photography as well as interviews, livestreaming, filmmaking, and studio video production.
Its 90cm diffusion surface creates a broad light source that produces smoother highlights and gradual shadow transitions when positioned at an appropriate distance from the subject.
The eight-sided shape produces rounded, natural-looking catchlights in the eyes, making the K3-90 particularly suitable for portraits, beauty work, headshots, and presenter-led video.
Its larger surface provides softer illumination than smaller modifiers when used from a similar distance. The final result depends on the connected light, placement, distance, and diffusion configuration.
The integrated quick-release mechanism allows the softbox to open and collapse without assembling individual rods before each session. This shortens setup time in studios and on-location productions.
The folded softbox measures approximately 67cm in length and stores inside the included carrying bag.
A reflective silver interior redirects light toward the diffusion surfaces, helping improve output efficiency and coverage.
The internal diffusion panel begins spreading concentrated light before it reaches the external front diffuser. Using both panels reduces hotspots and creates smoother, more balanced illumination across the 90cm surface.
The removable honeycomb grid limits sideways light spill and keeps illumination more focused on the subject. It is useful when lighting a portrait, interview, or product while keeping the background comparatively dark.
The grid can be removed when wider coverage is preferred.
The included Bowens mount connects to compatible COB LED lights, continuous studio fixtures, monolights, and studio flash heads.
Traditional rectangular or round-head Speedlites require a separately available S-type bracket or compatible Bowens adapter. That adapter is not part of the standard K3-90 package.

A conventional Speedlite requires a separately compatible Bowens holder. Confirm that the light fixture and stand can safely support a 90cm modifier.
The lighting fixture, stand, boom, sandbag, and Speedlite adapter are not included.
